Kamyshlovsky teacher training college- one of the oldest educational institutions in the Urals. Its history begins in 1929, when an agricultural pedagogical technical school was created from the 8th and 9th grades of the Kamyshlovskaya school of the 2nd level, which was supposed to train cultural workers for the village: teachers, agronomists, and hut workers.
Today Kamyshlovsky Pedagogical College is a multidisciplinary educational institution, educating competitive qualified specialists. All the personnel, material and technical conditions necessary for students to successfully master educational programs in 13 specialties have been created here. By implementing the Federal State Educational Standard, 126 college employees improve the content and technological components of student training, use activity-based, interactive, modular, project-based, distance learning, and health-saving technologies.
The educational process at KPK is based on a practice-oriented approach. It includes: teaching in context future profession, creation of quasi-professional situations, studying disciplines in conditions close to natural. It is no coincidence that the college is the base site of the Institute for Educational Development of the Sverdlovsk Region, where an innovation project is being implemented aimed at testing the educational laboratory model. In this regard, much attention is paid to equipping training workshops that replicate the future jobs of graduates. The organization of practical classes allows students to successfully master the basic professional features.
