The maximum number of points that an examinee can receive for completing the entire examination work is 34 points.

The recommended minimum threshold value for the overall score for completing the examination work is set at 8 points. Overcoming this threshold gives the graduate the right to receive a mark on a five-point scale in subjects of the educational field of mathematics (in accordance with the curriculum of the educational institution*).

*If a graduate studied mathematics in two subjects - algebra and geometry - educational institutions are recommended to issue certification grades based on the graduate’s current and final grades. (In this case, marks for the exam are not given.) Thus, the score received by a graduate during the State Examination is an objective and independent indicator of the level of his preparation, while the level of the school mark may differ in different educational institutions.

If a graduate studied mathematics as part of an integrated mathematics course, in addition to the overall score, he is also given an examination mark. Recommendations for converting the total score into a mark are given below. The certification mark is assigned based on the final and examination marks.

    0-7 points - mark “2”

    8-15 points - mark “3”

    16-19 points - mark “4”

Answer to task 1 ( summary) Part 1 of the work is assessed according to specially developed criteria.

The maximum number of points for a concise presentation is 7.

For correct completion of each task in Part 2 of the work, the graduate receives 1 point. For an incorrect answer or no answer, zero points are awarded. The maximum number of points that can be scored by an examinee who has correctly completed the tasks of Part 2 of the work is 13. The answer to the task of Part 3 of the work is assessed according to specially developed criteria.

The maximum number of points for an argumentative essay (alternative task) is 9. The assessment of the practical literacy of the examinee and the actual accuracy of his written speech is made on the basis of checking the presentation and the essay as a whole and amounts to 10 points.

Maximum points which an examinee can receive for completing the entire examination work is 39.

Examination papers are checked by two experts. Based on the results of the check, the experts independently assign points for each answer to the tasks of the examination work... In the event of a significant discrepancy in the points given by two experts, a third check is assigned. A significant discrepancy in scores is defined in the assessment criteria for the relevant academic subject.

The third expert is appointed by the chairman of the subject commission from among the experts who have not previously checked the examination work.

The third expert is provided with information about the scores assigned by the experts who previously checked the student’s examination work. The scores awarded by the third expert are final.”

A discrepancy of 10 or more points awarded by two experts for completing tasks 1 and 15 is considered significant (the points for all positions (criteria) for assessing the task by each expert are summed up: IR1–IR3, S1K1–S1K4, S2K1–S2K4, S3K1–S3K4, GK1– GK4, FC1). In this case, the third expert rechecks tasks 1 and 15 for all assessment positions.

Based on the points awarded for completing all work tasks, a total score is calculated, which is converted into a mark on a five-point scale.

Scale for converting primary scores of the OGE 2016

As in previous years, OGE-2016 (GIA-9) is held on 14 academic subjects. Graduates of 9th grade take two compulsory exams in the Russian language and mathematics, as well as two exams in any elective subject. Let us remind you that last year students could limit themselves to only two compulsory subjects, and take the rest on a voluntary basis.

Primary scores for completing the OGE examination work are converted to a mark on a 5-point scale. Due to this Federal Institute pedagogical measurements (FIPI) published “Recommendations for the use and interpretation of the results of examination papers for the main state exam (OGE) in 2016”. Regional commissions are given the right to change the scale for converting points up or down according to compulsory subjects.

The points received on the OGE and recalculated into a five-point system affect the grades in the certificate in the corresponding subject. The certificate contains the average between the mark received on the OGE and the annual mark in the subject. Rounding is carried out according to the rules of mathematics, that is, 3.5 is rounded to 4, and 4.5 to 5. In addition, the results of the OGE of students can be used for admission to specialized classes of secondary school.

Graduates can find out their grades for the exam at their school after the work has been checked and the results have been approved.

FIPI draws the attention of teachers and school leaders to the fact that the scales for converting primary scores into marks on a five-point scale for the OGE are of a RECOMMENDATIONAL NATURE.

Basic State Exam(OGE) is a test facing every ninth grader! The exam is mandatory for all high school graduates, but ninth-graders who want to continue their studies in colleges prepare especially diligently for it, because for admission they must demonstrate a high level of knowledge and, if possible, get the highest possible score.

It's time for future graduates to learn as much as possible about how exam papers are checked, and what the scale for converting OGE test scores into traditional assessments will be in 2019.

If the Unified State Exam reform is practically completed by 2019 and no fundamental changes are expected in KIMs for 11th graders, then it is just entering the reform stage. Last 20172018 academic year once again the number of subjects submitted for final certification has been increased, and in 2019 students will have to take a total of 5 exams:

  • 2 compulsory: Russian language and mathematics;
  • 3 to choose from such disciplines as: physics, chemistry, history, computer science, foreign language, social studies, biology, geography and literature.

There is no official information about the introduction of the 6th exam yet. But previously it was said that by 2020 the total number of subjects taken will reach six.

The choice of a specialized subject should not be random, because the result of the General Examination directly affects the grade in the certificate and is the main criterion for selection into specialized classes.

Principles for assessing work on the Unified State Exam 2019

Over the course of several recent years Unified State Exam system in a number of subjects has undergone significant changes and has been brought to an optimal (in the opinion of the organizers) format, which makes it possible to fully assess the volume of knowledge of a graduate in a particular subject.

In 2018-2019, no fundamental changes are expected and it is safe to say that the same principles as in 2017-2018 will be applied to evaluate the work of graduates:

  1. automated verification of forms;
  2. involving experts in checking tasks with detailed answers.

How does a computer evaluate?

The first part of the examination paper involves a short answer to the questions posed, which the Unified State Examination participant must enter on a special answer form.

Important! Before starting work, be sure to read the rules for filling out the form, as incorrectly completed work will not pass the automated check.

It is quite difficult to challenge the result of a computer check. If the work was not counted due to the fault of a participant who filled out the form incorrectly, the result is considered unsatisfactory.

How do experts rate it?

In many subjects, in addition to the test part, there are tasks that require a full, detailed answer. Since it is impossible to automate the process of checking such answers, experts are involved in the verification - experienced teachers with extensive work experience.

Checking Unified State Exam teacher does not know (and even with a strong desire cannot find out) whose work lies in front of him and in what city (region) it was written. Testing is carried out on the basis of uniform assessment criteria developed specifically for each subject. Each work is checked by two experts. If the experts’ opinions coincide, the assessment is put on the form, but if independent appraisers disagree, then a third expert is involved in the verification, whose opinion will be decisive.
